These terms govern your use of candlealchemist.com and any order you place with The Candle Alchemist. By placing an order you accept them.
Who we are
The Candle Alchemist is a proprietorship trading from Mohali, India, making and selling handmade scented candles.

Products
Everything is made by hand in small batches. Colour, surface finish and the exact placement of botanicals vary between pieces — that variation is a property of the process, not a fault.
Photographs are accurate but screens differ. Net quantity, burn time and fragrance notes are stated on every product page.
We may change or withdraw a product at any time. If we withdraw something you have already paid for, we will refund you in full.
Prices and payment
All prices are in Indian Rupees and inclusive of GST at 18%. Shipping and any cash-on-delivery fee are shown separately at checkout before you pay.
Payments are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your card details.
If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price we may cancel the order and refund you rather than fulfil it. We will always contact you first.
Orders
An order is an offer to buy. It is accepted when we confirm it by email, and a contract forms at that point.
We may decline an order where stock has run out, where we cannot deliver to your PIN code, or where we suspect fraud.
Safe use of candles
Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep candles away from children, pets, curtains and anything flammable. Burn on a heat-resistant surface.
Trim the wick to about 5 mm before each burn, and do not burn for more than four hours at a time.
We are not liable for damage caused by use that departs from these instructions or from the safety information supplied with the product.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or any other law that cannot be excluded by agreement.
Subject to that, our liability in respect of any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Mohali have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
